Sharing some pictures today of the bassets. :) We have Beau, the lazy big-brother basset who is so completely laid-back, and we have Penny, who apparently is going to be a little basset. She was the runt of her litter, and she's from the same parents as Beau, but she's reached her full size, and she's not even half his size (she makes up for it by being a pig! We have to watch what she eats because she gets fat very quick, and she's a thieving intelligent basset, lol).

Beau has just had his bath in this one. He loves a bath. He gets EVERYTHING wet though. We've discovered that Shamwow really DOES absorb a lot, but he still manages to get water everywhere!


This is Penny's perch. We've discovered, a way to solve her anxiety/separation issues is to let her see out the window. She's my mom's dog, and when my mom leaves, Penny freaks out and gets really nervous. So we set the window up so she can watch and be a bit more at ease. It seems to work.
